Born as a Californian, Paul was trained in Interior Architecture at Arizona State University College of Architecture. In his 30 year career he has worked and lived in Phoenix, San Francisco, Dallas and Houston. In his professional career, Paul has worked on a variety of project types including corporate, healthcare and education. Project sizes have ranged from 100 square foot exhibit spaces to 3M square foot University. Project locations include North America, the Middle East, and Asia. Projects always follow a rational and rigorous design approach but the human occupant with all of the inherent quirks is never forgotten. Paul is currently a Vice President and the Design Director for Interiors with HOK Houston.
Always interested in art, Paul began a second career as a fine art photographer, when he moved to Houston in 1998. His work has been in numerous exhibits, represented by galleries, and has been collected by several international law and accounting firms as well as private collectors.
Paul lives in Houston in a renovated 1950 ranch house with his partner and their Westie Simon.
